Autumn

A sense of Autumn is fresh in the air as the world swiftly changes outside. Softly, the cool Fall breeze blows in through my window against my face. Slipping under my bedroom door, a sent of pumpkin bread wafts through the house. Throughout my room belongs a sense of wonder, as chirping and chitter chatter from animals outside seep in through the screen. A gentle tap tap emanates from my computer as I type words of indescribable meaning. Soaring across the sky, clouds cover the sun, and the bright light gently fades into a soft familiarity like the night of a full moon. Sudden but welcome, a mewing enters from the back yard, and looking out my window I view a light gray cat with a darker spot around one eye. Pawing at the wall, it begs for me to come outside to play, and I gladly oblige, hoping to make this Autumn last as long as I can.

The End

As Autumn is my favorite season, I thought I would add a bit of color and spice to our drab existence with this little paragraph. It is not true, but it has "indescribable meaning" and I hope it adds to a day of wonder. I also want to give a special thank you to my mother and Mrs. Burton, for the wonderful WriteShop experience, which helped me to write this. Hope you have a wonderful Autumn.
