This (week's? year's?) episode: The Missing Cupcake

Awana was cancelled, we had nothing to do, so my best friends Mikaija and Kayti came over. All was well until it was suggested we make cupcakes....


I knew we were heading for trouble, but I wasn't sure of what kind. The cow was gone, but there could be other things, Josh wasn't there, but who knew what Kayti might do? Mikaija always acted perfectly normal at first, but it was never certain if she would transform or not.


Trouble started at the first: Mikaija and Kayti began arguing about who would do what.


Mikaija soon showed she meant business....


Kayti, not knowing of Mikaija's odd condition, was unsure how to react.


Suddenly, Sarah appeared with the eggs she just bought, and seeing the ensuing argument, intervened. "Now, now, we mustn't argue. Can't you just split up the work evenly among you?" Mikaija and Kayti looked at each other, then nodded, and Sarah left.


Mikaija and Kayti were unsure how to divide the work, so Mikaija looked into the bowl to see into the future (yes, she can do that).


What she saw must have upset her badly, for she immediately fell upon Kayti with some scissors. Knowing that I could do no good and that Mikaija could easily overpower the two of us, I went on and made the cupcakes myself. The fighting continued and I took the cupcakes out of the oven. When I turned back from putting away the potholders however, I noticed something was wrong....


A cupcake was missing!!! I looked from Mikaija to Kayti, and gasped when I realized that Mikaija must have seen Kayti taking the cupcake when she looked into the future.


I shoved Mikaija aside and attacked Kayti myself.


Suddenly Mikaija started laughing, and I looked up to see that my assumption must have been horribly wrong.


In the moment I hesitated, Kayti grabbed a bunch of rotten bananas to scare me away, for she knew that I could not even touch a bad banana or I would shrivel up.


I had to do something, and while Mikaija was still laughing I caught Kayti's attention and explained the situation. We wondered what we should do, when suddenly a brilliant thought came to my mind.


We called in Davis and he tickled her until she gave it back.
