Hmmm... I realize I haven't written in a week, and I apologize. But, at the moment, I haven't the faintest idea what to write. Let's see, I could insult facebook again, though I've kinda accepted it (you: *gasp!*), I could tell you about my day, but that would be kinda boring... unless! Okay, get ready for it!
I'm Alameda Bryce, Private Eye, but people call me Ally. It was 5:00 PM. I sat in a chair, reading a book, waiting for the moment when it was time to go. I could smell trouble a mile away, (even though I can't smell flowers or food very well) and this time it really stunk. My mother and I got in the car to drive to Wednesday night church. It was still light out but a darkness seemed to settle between the fragile strands of light. We drove up to the C building where I helped carry up the bags full of things for GA's; my mother is the leader there. After this I headed on for a long walk down the concrete to the F building where I knew my youth group was gathering. It was still 1 hour and a half before it started and yet there were still a few early birds there. I walked up to my friend, Misty Anderson. I watched with interest as she flipped through a catalog filled with all sorts of interesting gadgets. "What's this?" I asked. "It's a think geek catalog," she replied. I turned to my other friend, Ann Jubilee, who insisted on giving me a hug. I felt nothing from this hug, I knew she was only up to no good. I kept my eye close on her for a while. Time past rather slowly, but one by one, people filed in and soon my other friends, Dillon Benson and Joe Davidson, were there as well. Through the entire night all was well, but as the end drew near, I could tell trouble was just around the corner. Finally we were all released around 8:00 PM. I was distracted by Joe because he wanted to show me something. I was off my guard, and Ann, seeing her opportunity, kidnapped my trusty sidekick, Cheddar. I couldn't let her get away with this. I was about to chase her, but she handed him off to Dillon Benson. I knew now, I was outta luck. Dillon was one of the slickest when it came to keeping you in your place. I told them they were barking up the wrong tree, that I had friends planted all over the place. "Dillon could keep your sidekick away even if you sent the whole army after him," Ann proclaimed. "Yes, but my friends aren't an army, they're a team. And each one of them has pictures of you. Now, if you don't hand over Cheddar, I'll have all my friends post those pictures on facebook, where all your friends can see them. What do you say to that?" Ann hesitated a moment, turned to Dillon and told him to hand over my sidekick. He did so, reluctantly, and I turned my attention back to Joe, while I held on to Cheddar, that he might not be kidnapped again. The End.
