Disco!

Hey all! Last night I went to a disco party for the highschoolers at Mikaija's house. It was a lot of fun. Naturally, I stayed away from the popular crowds as much as possible. While everyone else sang and danced and ate food, I drew pictures of people, had deep philisophical conversations (well, maybe not philosophical and maybe not too deep, but it was definitely more than just a bunch of small talk) and played chess... of which I lost. But it wasn't really a fair play for the second half anyway because neither of us realized that his king was in check until it was too late to do anything about it. So we made the best of it and kept playing, though I shall forever blame my loss on the black horsey (I know it's called a knight but in this instance it was called a horsey). Okay, I did participate in the disco thing a little bit. I wore a costume and parted my hair in the middle (which I hadn't done since I was seven), though I changed and parted my hair back to the side in the middle of the party. But it's because of my not mingling with the crowd that makes me who I am and that's what makes it fun! But anyway, it was very enjoyable and I loved every moment. Peace!

  1. Glad you had fun, inspite of the 'black horsey' being in the undetected state of 'checkmate.'
