Thanksgiving to Christmas within 24 Hours...

Hmmm... so much has happened since I last posted, I don't even know where to begin. Well, first off, Thanksgiving. Our Thursday was a rather singular one. My parents went to see the new Harry Potter movie (7 part 1) and my brother Jon and I stayed home and watched Harry Potter 6 while eating dinosaur nuggets for lunch. Then we had catfish that night and that was about it. But, that was because we were celebrating our Thanksgiving the next day, on Friday, instead. And I think we should have it that way every year, because then we can invite our friends over without interference.

But anyway, Mom said we could invite a few people over, so I invited the Dicus' and Jon brought Andrew and Matt. First, we all watched Ben play Star Craft two against Jeff on his computer. Then we all ate gumbo (which I didn't care for much) and pumpkin pie (which I loved). After that we made a failed attempt to watch A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving, then we all played minor and major league Nertz. (If you don't know what that is, I can explain it to you better in person.) Yep, it was pretty fun.

Then on Saturday, Mom and I spent the whole day shopping for a Christmas dress, but I have yet to find one. Then that evening I spent the night at MM's house, and she straightened my hair, which took forever.

Then Sunday (today), we all went to church and then that evening we attended Immanuel Lights, which is where they light this huge Christmas tree outside at IBC (my church). It was freezing cold. It was about 40 something degrees and with the wind blowing it made it worse, and I had forgotten my gloves, so my fingers were very numb by the end of the day. Mrs. Aceves brought us hot chocolate and I was able to keep my hands warm for a little bit, but after that I had to make do with absolutely nothing. One of my friends said I was colder then the air around me, which was probably true. But working with my friends was fun, and huddling together to keep warm (so sorry for the tall ones) and singing Christmas songs was great. Now I am currently sitting in my warmest pj's and my warmest blanket and eating candies.

Tomorrow I start school again. Yippee!!!... not.
