Halloween 2010- best one yet

Well, another Halloween has come and gone. I was a black cat. I think it was my best costume ever. It had my personality and it was simple so I wasn't taking it off in the middle of the party like I usually do. The party went fairly well, considering. Everyone, (i.e. Mikaija, Amy, Kayti, Davis, Josh, and me) except Josh was there. He only lives a little ways from my house, so he was walking. Since no more people were coming, we all decided to go meet him half way. So we all took a trip and Amy, Kayti, and I decided we weren't gonna be smart and decided to go barefoot. I still have a cut on the bottom of my foot. I had forgotten that the road had a bunch of prickly things, even on the bit of sidewalk it had. Oh well. It's too late now. Anyway, so after that we ate pizza (which we had made ourselves) and drank crush and from then on I was just letting the guests decide what to do because my party had been planned for 12 people, not 6 so I had to make things up along the way. So we played Nertz and the guys played ping-pong a bit and we all played hide-and-go-seek in my backyard because all my friends love to do that when they come over. I gave out ribbons as party favors and that's all I have to say about my party. Now on to the Festival.

I helped at my dad's booth at first (a cat game where you roll the balls through the legs of the cat) and Josh hung out there too, and I had brought Cheezer along. Poor little mouse. I thought Cheezer might help the decor a bit, so I set him on the table to help catch the balls with me, and then Josh started moving him around to catch the balls. Then one of my dad's helpers came and he started using the mouse as a target for the kids to hit with the balls and all the helpers continued it all throughout the night. Then Josh went and sang with the choir and I was stuck watching the guitars he had left in my possession, so I couldn't go anywhere or listen to the choir. Then my dad came back (he had gone to eat something) and I wandered around a bit and talked with people and then I worked at the highschool booth and after that I ate and wandered around a bit more. I continued wandering with friends until near the end and then Josh and I looked around to see which booth was the best (which the hot wheel car race won, of course) and then we went back to my dad's booth. Here is where I will finish the story of Cheezer. Poor thing, when I got him back he was extremely dirty and when I got home the first thing I did was put him in the washer.

Yep, it was pretty fun, the best Halloween I've had in years. But I determined that next year I would do my own booth, and it would be a Christmas booth, because I didn't see any and there should always be a bit of Christmas at Halloween. :-D Hope you all enjoyed this long post. Happy Valentines Day!!!
