The Adventures of Mikaija and Noelle... and Josh.

Yesterday, my friends Josh and Mikaija (MM) came over to make cupcakes. Now, you might be wondering... "who in the world is Josh?" Well... he's um... ya know... one of those human things. Anyway, naturally we took pictures and... well I think you've learned the usual routine by now.

Since everyone knows of the past story's of what happens when MM and I bake something, I don't need to tell you of my nervousness when we began baking cupcakes. However, because of Josh's presence, I hoped that perhaps this time it would all be normal. Little did I know...
Now, Mikaija and I thought it might be fun if Josh made the cupcakes. So we watched as Josh cracked the eggs. We were both surprised and disappointed when, rather than ruining the whole thing, Josh succeeded... and did better than us!

Everything had made sense in the cooking world until Josh came along. I thought he was just being funny, but I was about to find out otherwise. Josh pointed out that we didn't have 1 heat, 2 beats, and 3 bakes as the box read, something MM and I had never noticed.

I knew something was off from the start, but I should have known that Josh was using his mind powers to make us confused! But before I had realized this, he put me under one of his spells. I was now completely in his power, and he could make me do whatever he wanted.

Even kill my best friend.

Why he would want MM dead, I don't know. But whatever his plans, they failed miserably, for he had not known of MM's transfiguration from the past. When violence came near, it woke up the monster within her and she made a counterattack.

But before she could push me in the oven, Josh stepped in to save me (or his tool, rather) from certain doom. Suddenly, all of us stopped. Our senses returned. MM was no longer the monster, I was no longer under Josh's hypnotizing power, and Josh, even Josh seemed to be utterly bewildered. He didn't want to kill Mikaija anymore. But why? We pondered our situation.

Josh, (being as intelligent as he is) decided that we all must have been under some outside influence, but the heat from the oven cleared our minds. MM asked him why it was only ever at my house that the outside influence worked. "It must be someone who can't leave the house," he concluded, logically. We looked around, but no one was near. We searched the house but everyone we found was able to leave the house. Just as we were about to give up, Josh spotted it. The cow on the wall in the kitchen.

We decided that we had to destroy it before it destroyed us, so we put it in the oven with our cupcakes and rejoiced that we were all back to normal.

Well, almost back to normal...

In the end, the cupcakes were delicious (and the steak as well), and there was only one thing left to ask, which MM proceeded to do, "So, Josh, why would the cow want to kill me?" Josh shrugged. "How should I know?" he said, and walked away. MM turned to me. "I thought he was supposed to be all "wise" and such." "Well, at least he knows how to break eggs," I replied.
